Active Content
The help system uses javascript to create a more interactive U.I. It also uses java applets or activeX to perform the search and other functionality in the Win Help type pages. Active content must be turned on to get this functionality. If it is turned off, you can still click through on links in the help.

Internet Explorer
To allow active content for all local files, you can turn this on in Tools / Internet Options / Advanced. In the list box check Security / Allow active content to run in files on My Computer.
